        I warmly welcome you to Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy Government Arts & Science Degree College, Udayagiri. As the Principal of this esteemed College,Iam delighted to see young minds like yours seeking to shape your future with us.

            As a Rural Govt.Degree College, we understand the unique challenges that our students face. We are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters academic excellence, personal growth, and social responsibility.

          Our mission is to empower the rural youth with quality education, equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and values necessary to succeed in an ever-changing world. We strive to create a learning environment that is stimulating, inclusive, and respectful of diversity.

       As per New Education  Policy 2020 ,our College offers a range of UG Honours   Single Major Programmes besides Minor Courses , Skill Enhancement Courses and Multi-Disciplinery Courses  that cater to the diverse interests and aspirations of our students. Our faculty members are dedicated professionals who are passionate about teaching and mentoring. We encourage our students to explore their academic interests, develop their critical thinking skills, and pursue their passions.

       At our college, we believe that education goes beyond the classroom.We offer a range of extracurricular activities, Sports & Games, Cultural Programmes and  National Service Scheme(NSS) that help our students develop their leadership skills, teamwork, and social responsibility.

       We understand that our students may face unique challenges, and we are committed to providing support services that help them succeed.Our support services include Career Guidance and Counseling, Mentorship, Scholarships, Coaching for Competitive Examinations and .Placement Assistance through well established APSSDC-Skill Hub.

       Our experiential learning strategies include Community Service Projects,Internships,Field Trips,Industrial Visits and Seminars are put in place for enhanced learning outcomes .Innovative Pedagogy includes E-Content generation(LMS),Digital Classes and Virtual Classes are used to enrich the academic Programmes.

      Our Central Library continues to grow and expand it's resources to support the academic needs of our students.  It subscribed to NLIST providing access to a vast repository of e-books.

       As Educationist,I want  to see my country great. I want to see my people get the best of knowledge and culture. Iam not a mere employee Iam a citizen. As citizen of free India, I must respond to the national call and to my national responsibilities in an effective way by imparting a man making , Nation building and character building education to the children who come to me. These children in front of me are are my budding fellow citizens. Iam here to help them  to acquire knowledge and culture.
