THE MATHEMATICS DEPARTMENT PROFILE

 

The Department of Mathematics was established in 2003 in M.R.R Govt.Arts & Science Degree College, Udayagiri. The Department of Mathematics started its journey with B.Sc(MPC) and B.Sc(MPCs) as intake 40 seats.The Department of Mathematics aims at providing opportunities for students to explore areas of mathematics outside classroom.The Department of Mathematics continous to play a pivotal role in shapping future mathematicians by providing a strong foundation in the field of mathematics with the introduction of the choice Based Credit System(CBCS) in 2017 and the introduction of B,Sc(Honors) with single major (mathematics) from 2023.
