The Department of Telugu was established in 1983 with BA Course later on BSc, BCom followed 

  • To provide facilities for study and research in Language, Literature, Communication

              and Soft Skills and all other Employability Skills

  • Teaching and Research in the Department are focused on the different aspects of Language and Modern Trends in the usages of Telugu Language.
  • The curriculum makes it possible for students to have a comprehensive as well as in depth knowledge n Telugu Language.
  • To enable then to clear Competitive  examinations like  MA Telugu, Telugu pundit training examinations and also to take up administrative, teaching and research careers with confidence in feature.

VISION

Department of Telugu educates students through teaching

and extension activities to moulid them into an all round

personality.

Additionally, it imparts Employability Skills to Students and make them confident to face both written and interview parts of the Competitive Examinations in the immediate future.

This helps students to achieve their goals at the earliest

and enable them to settle securely and happily in their

practical lives,
